In this waiting mode I have begun to work on my fiber arts and to work on my staging ability as a photographer. The latter is the harder of the two strangely enough. After breaking through my mental block I soon discovered that I had a plethora of items that I could use as staging material. All sorts of common everyday and baby items I have gather up and are incorporating them in photos not only to display my newly knitted socks and baby line items but to sell them as greeting cards etc. on my Cafe Press and Zazzle stores. Fingers crossed we will see how that goes. I think that it would make a great presentation for gift giving. Imagine giving a hand knitted sock or baby blanket etc., and having a matching sticker and card to go with the items to draw it all together? The examples of the photo given above are not indicative of what I would like to go on the cards but rather just to show off the socks at my Etsy. store but the idea is going to be brought forward. So let me know what you think on the idea and if you have any fresh ideas that you haven't seen anyone do yet but would love to see come to life. In the mean while take a look at my growing store on Etsy. and leave some feed back ! Thanks

Thank goodness the Holidays are over
Thank goodness Christmas is over and we can move on. I know that sounds so Scrooge like but boy this Christmas was one for the books! We had everything but a burning Christmas tree. Everything from family members needing to be committed to the Betty Ford to having to put my daughter-in-laws cat down (New Years Day)! Starving dogs.... dead canaries, heating gone out, shower flooding, did I forget anything? Oh hell yes and some of our excitement just too embarrassing to mention but you can bet this year end just topped all the year ends that came before .. Well needless to say if that is all that happens this year we will be lucky folks. Perhaps we have gotten all the CRAP out of the way and this new year will lead us to some great times! Do have to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to all those who have purchased something from my Zazzle and Cafe press stores! That was a great surprise. And My Amazon store is doing well too. Perhaps that will give me some incentive to get my Etsy store up and running now LOL. I have so many baby socks that I have knitted and worked on while I was doing the Gilligan island thing in Fla. You know the 3 hour tour that turned into 8 MONTHS. I am so happy to be home.
